As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Images, etc.
Images, figures, etc. should be submitted in separate files after the review process, but with clear indication in the text of where they should be placed. Images should be min. 300 dpi (.TIFF or .JPEG format) with a minimum proportional width of 10 cm. Save each image/figure, etc. in a separate file in as high a resolution as possible and name them by number: “Image 1”, “Figure 1”, “Image 2”, etc.
Copyright of images
If the text is about the object that is represented in the image, no permission is needed but a description of the image source. Otherwise, a reference to the open source (URL) or a written confirmation by the copyright owner is required.
