Elizarni is an independent researcher and educator working in both formal and non-formal education in Aceh, Indonesia. She holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Ohio University, where her dissertation examined feminist pedagogies during and after the armed conflict in Aceh. Her work focuses on gender, education, and peacebuilding in post-conflict societies, with a strong commitment to community-based learning and social transformation.
